Code Vein 2: Hammer Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
In Code Vein II, Hammers (Greathammers) serve as the best choice for players who prioritize high poise damage and staggering "Horror" elites. These weapons are characterized by their massive weight and slow swing speed, but they often possess high scaling in Strength and Fortitude.
Most Hammers also feature the Mighty Smash or Crushing Blow Combat Formae, allowing you to flatten smaller enemies in a single strike.
Hammers are heavy. Unless you use the Superbia: Lou Blood Code or equip high-weight Boosters, you will likely have a "Slow" dodge. Focus on Blocking with a Shield Bracer instead of rolling.
Use the Mighty Smash Combat Forma on the Boss's legs. After 2–3 hits, most Bosses in Code Vein II will fall into a "Downed" state, allowing for a free critical strike. Mastering Hammer proficiency at the Hub with Lavinia unlocks the Hammer Mastery Booster, which provides a massive +4 Strength boost.
