Code Vein 2: Combat Formae Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Code Vein II, Combat Formae are the active skills tied to your weapons, replacing the weapon-specific Gifts from the previous game. These Formae are important for defining your playstyle, offering everything from high-speed gap closers to massive AOE shockwaves.

You can find these primarily in ornate chests (often hidden behind secret walls) or as rewards for clearing specific Map Jammers. Some of them are also found by exploring the world. Here is what you should know about them:

Every weapon has between 1 and 3 Forma Slots. Higher-tier weapons usually have more slots.
Each Forma has a "Handling" or "Conductivity" requirement. If your stats are too low, using the skill will consume double Ichor.
In the Luna Rapacis region, many chests containing endgame Formae are invisible. Equipping the Soul Rune reveals the shimmer of the chest and the spectral path leading to it.
