Clair Obscur Expedition 33: Underwater Treasure Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Scattered across the waters of The Continent in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are 12 Underwater Treasures — glowing dive spots that each yield 5 Colour of Lumina on collection, for 60 Colour of Lumina total.

They're invisible from the overworld until Esquie learns to dive, at which point blue lights (and occasional bubbles) appear at the water surface, marking every accessible spot. All 12 surface coordinates are pinned on MapMaster's Expedition 33 interactive maps.

What Underwater Treasures Are in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Underwater Treasures are the loot dive spots on The Continent. Every one contains exactly 5 Colour of Lumina — the item that permanently expands a character's Lumina Point pool.

Collecting all 12 gives 60 Colour of Lumina: enough to meaningfully expand every party member's passive ability budget without any additional farming.

How to Unlock Underwater Diving

Underwater Treasures are inaccessible until Esquie reaches Relationship Level 6, the maximum.

Relationship levels are raised by spending time with Esquie at camp — one hangout event per level, available during Act 2 onward, with all six unlockable at once in Act 3 if earlier ones were skipped. Once diving is unlocked, look for the glowing blue lights in the ocean on The Continent. Approach on Esquie while swimming, align with the glow, and interact to dive and collect.

Visual Identifier: Blue Lights and Bubbles

Eleven of the twelve dive spots appear as blue glowing lights on the water surface. One (in the Frozen Hearts region) appears as rising bubbles rather than a light — the only visual variant in the guide. If you're sweeping the ocean and can't see a light, look for bubbles in the water in that area instead.

One dive spot is only reachable by flying, not swimming — the spot is on a section of ocean accessible solely by air. The checklist notes this access requirement directly on the relevant entry.

60 Colour of Lumina Total: Why Every Dive Spot Matters

Each Colour of Lumina permanently expands one character's Lumina Point pool by 1.

Across a party of six, 60 Colour of Lumina represents 10 additional Lumina Points per character — enough to equip several more high-cost Luminas simultaneously without needing to farm Renoir's Drafts or wait for additional world pickups.

The Underwater Treasures collectively represent one of the most efficient single-activity Lumina Point expansions in the game, available the moment the dive ability is unlocked in Act 3.
