Borderlands 4 (BL4): Vault Fragment Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
Vault Fragments are the keys required to unlock Vault Entrances and access the hidden Primordial Vaults in Borderlands 4. Collecting these items is the only way to challenge the game's toughest dungeons and earn the permanent Jet Pack upgrade.
There are a total of 9 Vault Fragments scattered across Kairos. They are divided evenly among the three major regions, with each specific Primordial Vault requiring a set of 3 fragments to open:
- The Fadefields: 3 Fragments
- Carcadia Burn: 3 Fragments
- Terminus Range: 3 Fragments
The game provides a method to narrow down the search area, but it involves a combat challenge:
- Completing an Order Silo activity reveals the general search radius for a nearby Vault Fragment on your map.
- Once the area is marked, you must physically explore the terrain to locate the collectible.
While Order Silos give you a hint, they do not provide the exact spot to find a Vault Fragment, but you can easily find them using our Borderlands 4 game maps, or the table below.
