Yooka-Replaylee Tonics are unique consumables that dramatically alter gameplay or provide helpful stat boosts. These items cannot be found via exploration; you can only purchase them primarily at Vendi's Emporium or Trowzer's Worldwide Incredible Traders in exchange for Q.U.I.D.S.

Tonics serve a dual purpose in the game:

• Stat Upgrades: Some Tonics, like the Charged Up Tonic or Breathless Tonic, provide useful stat increases and quality-of-life improvements.
• Gameplay Modifiers: A large majority of Tonics are used to alter the game in entertaining ways. For example, you can use the Eyes!!! Tonic to give all enemies googly eyes, or the Tune Squad Tonic to swap the in-game music to the original Yooka-Laylee soundtrack.

It is important to know that more Tonics become available as you progress through the game. Many are unlocked after specific events, while others require you to collect a certain number of Pagies.
