Yooka-Replaylee Cosmetics change the appearance of Yooka and Laylee with hats, tops, bottoms, accessories, wings, full outfits, and eye swaps — the most extensive character customisation system in the game.

What Cosmetics Are in Yooka-Replaylee

The Cosmetic catalogue spans six categories across all six worlds.

• Tops cover shirts, jackets, pyjama tops, basketball tops, and full uniform pieces.
• Bottoms include shorts, jeans, trousers, and pyjama bottoms.
• Accessories cover ties, bows, gloves, sunglasses, stethoscopes, monocles, and backpacks.
• Hats span woolly hats, caps, deerstalker hats, and specialty headwear.
• Wings — Angel Wings, Dark Angel Wings, and Phoenix Wings — appear in Moodymaze Marsh.
• Full outfits are the highest-cost category: themed sets like the Shovel Knight Set (750 Q.U.I.D.S), Buccaneer Buddies Set (1,000 Q.U.I.D.S), Stingdom Scion Set (1,250 Q.U.I.D.S), and Vendi's Catwalk Creation (1,000 Q.U.I.D.S) grant a coordinated look across all costume slots simultaneously.

Two Vendors, Two Currencies: Trowzer and Vendi

Cosmetics come from two sources with distinct currency requirements.

• Trowzer — the smooth-talking snake NPC found in every Grand Tome world — sells one exclusive themed outfit per world for 15 Quills each: Tribalstack Tourist (Tribalstack Tropics), Icymetric Royalty (Glitterglaze Glacier), Moodymaze Menace (Moodymaze Marsh), Lucky Suit (Capital Cashino), and Cosmic Captain (Galleon Galaxy). These are the most affordable named outfits in the game and become available as soon as Trowzer is found in each world.

• Vendi — the vending machine vendor appearing in Hivory Towers and every Grand Tome world — sells the full catalogue for Q.U.I.D.S, earned through Play Coin collection. Prices range from 125 Q.U.I.D.S (Backpack by Vendi) to 1,250 Q.U.I.D.S (Stingdom Scion Set and 64-Bit). Vendi has multiple stall locations within each world — all positions pinned on the hand-drawn maps.

How Cosmetics Are Unlocked

Three unlock routes exist across the catalogue. Most cosmetics become purchasable simply by reaching Trowzer or Vendi in the field and having sufficient currency — no additional condition needed.

A subset unlocks automatically by hitting Pagie milestone counts — collecting a specific number of Pagies causes these cosmetics to appear in the vendor's stock without any additional action.

Others require completing tasks given by specific NPCs encountered through exploration — eccentric characters scattered across the worlds who reward cosmetic unlocks on quest completion.

Three cosmetics — the Collector's Jacket, Collector's Pirate Pants, and Collector's Medallion — are sold for 0 Q.U.I.D.S by Vendi, meaning they cost nothing once available but have their own unlock prerequisites.

Their vendor locations are pinned in Galleon Galaxy and Capital Cashino, respectively. Full completion of all cosmetics contributes to 100% tracking in the Trophy guide.

Cosmetics begin in Tribalstack Tropics — the most cosmetic-dense single world in the visible checklist, with Vendi stocking over 30 individual items across tops, bottoms, accessories, hats, and full sets, including the Shovel Knight Set and Buccaneer Buddies Set.

• Glitterglaze Glacier adds the Letterman Jacket and Cap range, Multi-Pants, Snow Jacket variants, and the 64-Bit retro outfit.
• Moodymaze Marsh introduces the Wings category — Angel Wings, Dark Angel Wings, and Phoenix Wings alongside the Kerchief range, Quill Jumper, Halo There!, and Punk Rocker headwear.
• Capital Cashino stocks the Sweatband range, Gym King sets, Ripped Jeans variants, Bow accessories, and the Collector's Medallion.
• Galleon Galaxy closes the catalogue with Tie variants, Old Skool Uniforms, the Collector's Jacket and Pirate Pants, and I.N.E.P.T. Vision eyewear.
• Hivory Towers carries Vendi across three stall locations stocking the Bats Basketball range, skater shorts, Breaded Laylee, Doughnut Trousers, Mark's Shirt and Trousers, and Vendi's Catwalk Creation.
