Yooka-Replaylee: Quill Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Yooka-Replaylee features 750 Quills spread across its five Grand Tome worlds — the primary currency for purchasing Upgrades, Tonics, and Cosmetics from Trowzer in each world.

With 150 Quills per world and every position marked on the Yooka-Replaylee interactive maps, this is the only unified resource for all 750 in a single interactive checklist.

What Quills Are in Yooka-Replaylee

Quills appear in clusters of 2, 3, or 4 throughout each world — floating in open clearings, tucked behind breakable crates, hidden in underwater areas, perched on elevated platforms, and scattered through interior structures.

They're colour-coded per world: purple in Tribalstack Tropics, blue in Glitterglaze Glacier, pink in Moodymaze Marsh, gold in Capital Cashino, and green in Galleon Galaxy.

Most are collectible on a standard first pass, but some require specific abilities or transformations.

What Quills Buy: Trowzer's Full Catalogue

Trowzer — the snake merchant present in every Grand Tome world — trades Quills for three categories of items.

Character Upgrades expand what Yooka and Laylee can do (new moves, extended health, and ability improvements).
Tonics are gameplay modifiers that change how the game plays, from visual effects to mechanical tweaks.
Cosmetics — specifically the world-specific themed outfit Trowzer sells in each region — cost 15 Quills each. Since the only way to unlock Upgrades and Tonics is by spending Quills at Trowzer, collecting all 750 across the full game guarantees access to everything in his catalogue without managing a shortage in later worlds.

The Bonus Pagie for Completing All Quills

Collecting every single Quill in a world — all 150 — automatically earns one bonus Pagie.

Across all five Grand Tome worlds, that's 5 extra Pagies just for full Quill completion. These are tracked in the Trophy guide and contribute toward 100% completion. The checklist marks each world's Quill count so the progress toward 150 is always visible.

Transformation-Locked Quills

Several Quill clusters in the later worlds are only accessible after delivering the world's Mollycool to Dr. Puzz. In Capital Cashino, nine Quill clusters on the upper casino rooftops and the house of cards roof require the helicopter transformation.

In Moodymaze Marsh, Quills at the bottom of the lake require the shoal transformation to reach through the thorns.

In Galleon Galaxy, Quills under the pier and inside ice boulders require the ship transformation and cannon use. Every transformation-locked Quill is flagged in the checklist with a cross-link to the Mollycool position.

All 750 Quill Locations in Yooka-Replaylee

The 150 Quills in each world are distributed across every area and elevation — ground level, underwater, inside buildings, on rooftops, behind destructible objects, and in platforming sequences.

Tribalstack Tropics has the most accessible spread, with the majority findable on foot.
Glitterglaze Glacier introduces underwater clusters at the bottom of the lake and Quills inside Icymetric Palace rooms, requiring specific access routes.
Moodymaze Marsh places several in the swamp canopy and on pipes accessible only by grappling or gliding.
Capital Cashino has the highest concentration of hard-to-reach Quills — roof and upper-casino positions locked behind the helicopter transformation.
Galleon Galaxy closes with ship-transformation clusters and Vault pond Quills accessible only after completing Shovel Knight's key chain.

Quill x4Glitterglaze GlacierQuill x4	Glitterglaze Glacier	Found on the left side of the ramp. To collect them, consider using the heavy bomb by the western entrance.

Quill x3Glitterglaze GlacierQuill x3	Glitterglaze Glacier	Found in the flooded room of the Icymetric Palace. You can access it via the entrance at the base of the tower. Once you get inside, swim up and look for them under the wooden platform.
Quill x3Glitterglaze GlacierQuill x3	Glitterglaze Glacier	Found inside the third room of the Icymetric Palace when you access it via the underwater entrance at the base of the tower. After reaching the room, use the nearby bomb to destroy the rocks covering the alcoves.

Quill x3Moodymaze MarshQuill x3	Moodymaze Marsh	Found on top of a large tank. You can reach it by gliding after collecting the Lash Chance Pagie.
Quill x4Moodymaze MarshQuill x4	Moodymaze Marsh	Found at the bottom of the lake, under the Pagie. To collect the Quills, you have to bring the Mollycool to Dr. Puzz, so she can transform you into a shoal. Once transformed, attack the thorns, collect the Pagie and the Quills.
Quill x4Moodymaze MarshQuill x4	Moodymaze Marsh	Found in the second room of the cave you can access via the pipe entrance near Clara. Use the Sonar 'Splosion to reveal them.

Quill x3Moodymaze MarshQuill x3	Moodymaze Marsh	Found on top of a pipe. You can get to the roof by stepping on the pressure plate at the edge of the plateau, thus revealing a grappling point. After you reach the roof, Spring Jump on top of the pipe.
