Revenge of the Savage Planet: Capturable Creature Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Revenge of the Savage Planet, capturing specific creatures is a major gameplay mechanic that unlocks new suit upgrades, weapon mods, and color palettes for your gear.

There are 36 unique species you can capture using your Proton Whip. While some critters like the Puffer Fox are easy to lasso, others require specific tactics—like stunning a Hognork by shooting the roof of its mouth.

Can't Catch It? If your lasso isn't working, the creature likely has a Weak Spot you need to shoot first.
Missing a Rare Variant? Keep an eye out for "Alpha" versions like the Alpha Toxwin or Alpha Raccocco.
Research Rewards: Remember to visit your habitat computer after capturing new species to "Research" them and unlock your rewards.

CrusherBrrrts Frozen GrottoCrusher	Brrrts Frozen Grotto	Patrols the lower levels of the Frozen Grotto. Shoot the creature's tail to be able to capture it.
DetonatonCrash SiteDetonaton	Crash Site	Found on the suspended platform. Use the power hose, then shoot the Ice Detonator to stagger it.
Simian PufferCrash SiteSimian Puffer	Crash Site	Found at the edge of the upper plateau. You can capture it on your way down from the suspended platforms.
Mito SlimeChuggler's SwampMito Slime	Chuggler's Swamp	It can be captured inside the cave you can reach after obtaining the Tether. To capture the Mito Slime, first shoot it to make it divide into smaller slimes.
Alpha ToxwinSummit of RuinAlpha Toxwin	Summit of Ruin	Found in the clearing on top of the mountain. To stagger it, shoot its belly.

Fecal BeetleChuggler's SwampFecal Beetle	Chuggler's Swamp	Multiple beetles can be found inside the Scuttling Grotto. To capture one, first use the whip attacks to remove the armor, then shoot the beetle in the rear to stagger it.
Armored CrusherThe Depths of TrrnArmored Crusher	The Depths of Trrn	Found in the middle of the cave. To stagger it, use the metallic chunks in the cave and the fork.
Scorpio PufferGreater Sand SeaScorpio Puffer	Greater Sand Sea	Found in the open. To capture it, simply use your whip.
Puffer FoxGreater Sand SeaPuffer Fox	Greater Sand Sea	Found in the open. To capture it, simply use your whip.
BoneflyPillars of TurpitudeBonefly	Pillars of Turpitude	Flying above the tar pit. Capture one simply by using your whip.
Desert EraffePillars of TurpitudeDesert Eraffe	Pillars of Turpitude	Found in the open. Shoot one of them behind its head before pulling it with your whip.
Grab GrubPillars of TurpitudeGrab Grub	Pillars of Turpitude	This submerging creature spawns randomly in the desert. Watch for the moving sand and get close to it. Shoot it in the mouth to stun it, then use your whip while standing as close as possible.
CuradoraPillars of TurpitudeCuradora	Pillars of Turpitude	Can be spotted flying above the tar pit, healing other wasps. Get close to it quickly and use the whip. You don't have to stagger it.
Alpha VaperonPillars of TurpitudeAlpha Vaperon	Pillars of Turpitude	This locust-like creature spawns on top of the hill after you kill all creatures on the hill and around it. Shoot its knees before attempting to pull it.
Common Striped PufferQuasadron IX Crash SiteCommon Striped Puffer	Quasadron IX Crash Site	Found in the large clearing near the landing spot. Simply use the whip to capture it.
Lurid Striped PufferQuasadron IX Crash SiteLurid Striped Puffer	Quasadron IX Crash Site	Found on the plateau on top of a large rock. Use only the whip to capture one.
WardrillQuasadron IX Crash SiteWardrill	Quasadron IX Crash Site	Found in the clearing. Shoot it in the but to stagger it.
BumblarQuasadron IX Crash SiteBumblar	Quasadron IX Crash Site	Flying in the clearing near the Orange Goo. Use only the whip to capture it.
Savannah EraffeQuasadron IX Crash SiteSavannah Eraffe	Quasadron IX Crash Site	Patrolling inside and outside the rock formation. You can stagger it by shooting it in the back of the head.
ArffaloQuasadron IX Crash SiteArffalo	Quasadron IX Crash Site	Found in the middle of the rock formation. To stagger it, you must jump and stomp on its back, then shoot the weak spot.
SluggatorAlta's Trash MountainSluggator	Alta's Trash Mountain	Found inside the tunnel under the entrance to the garbage dump. Look for the tunnel after entering the garbage dump area. To stagger the creature, shoot its forehead.
TatushkeySavannah LakeTatushkey	Savannah Lake	Found in the clearing, near the large pulsating mushrooms. You can capture it using only your whip, but make sure it doesn't spot you.
RaccoccoSlarragon ForestRaccocco	Slarragon Forest	Found in the clearing. The Raccocco is captured as part of the Museum of Life mission.
BeetleSlarragon ForestBeetle	Slarragon Forest	Found by the pond. The Beetle is captured as part of the Museum of Life mission.
