Resident Evil Requiem: Requiem Ammo Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Requiem Ammo — formally 12.7x55mm rounds — is the rarest ammunition type in Resident Evil Requiem, with only 10 world-spawn entries across the Care Center, Water Treatment Plant, East Raccoon City, and ARK.

Which Character Uses the Requiem?

Both at different points. Grace receives the Requiem Revolver early on from Leon as insurance against the most dangerous threats — she carries it through the entire Care Center section.

Leon starts the game with five bullets loaded, but regardless of how many shots were fired or conserved, Grace always received the weapon with one bullet remaining in the chamber.

The Requiem hits hard enough to one-shot most standard enemies and stagger bosses — but every round is a resource decision.

Its recoil in Grace's hands can be reduced by buying the Stabilizer with Antique Coins from the Parlor.

When Grace Transfers Rounds to Leon

All rounds Grace has crafted or collected transfer to Leon in a cutscene before he arrives in Raccoon City.

The transfer is automatic — there is no manual handoff. This means every 12.7x55mm round Grace accumulates during the Care Center section becomes part of Leon's arsenal for East Raccoon City and beyond.

Once with Leon, the Requiem can be upgraded at Supply Boxes — Barrel Jacket (7,000 Credits), Ported Barrel (5,000 Credits), and Weighted Grip (5,000 Credits).

How to Craft 12.7x55mm Ammo

Crafting requires two prerequisites: the Blood Specimen (Converged) analyzed on the Blood Analyzer to unlock the recipe, and the Level 1 ID Wristband to access the Waiting Room Closet where the Converged Specimen is found.

Once unlocked, each craft costs 1x Rare Metal + 80x Infected Blood and yields 2 rounds. The 5 available Rare Metals (all from Care Center Simple Locks) cap crafted output at 10 additional rounds.

Two Entries Require Environmental Actions

Most world-spawn entries are straightforward silver case pickups. Two require specific actions before the ammo is accessible.

In East Raccoon City, one case hangs from an air conditioner unit — shoot the yellow strap to drop the case to the ground.

A second case is on a crate with a blocked path — use the mortar nearby to clear the obstruction before reaching it.

• Care Center (2 locations): silver box on the Closet desk, silver box on the Pantry shelf.
• Water Treatment Plant (3 locations): rusty metal box, barrel in the Storage Area, table in the Storage Bay.
• East Raccoon City (3 locations): silver briefcase after climbing the nearby ladder, x2 rounds in case hanging from air conditioner (shoot the yellow strap), x2 rounds in case on crate (use mortar to clear path).
• ARK (2 locations): silver case on a server unit, cabinet in the Back Room.
