Resident Evil Requiem: Rare Metals Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In RE9: Requiem, the transition from survivor to powerhouse hinges on your ability to scavenge all Rare Metal locations. These high-density alloys are the rarest crafting components in the game and serve as the mandatory foundation for Grace’s high-caliber 12.7x55mm (Requiem) rounds.

Unlike standard Scrap or Gunpowder, Rare Metals are finite world pickups, often secured in Simple Lock containers which you can open using Lockpicks. By combining Rare Metal with 80x Infected Blood, Grace can craft two rounds capable of penetrating even the largest boss. Because of their value, Rare Metals are never found in common areas like kitchens or hallways. 

On Insanity difficulty, Rare Metals are the most sought-after resources as the game drastically reduces the number of units available. Walking past a unit of Rare Metal in the dark can leave you severely underpowered when playing as Grace.
