Resident Evil Requiem: Gunpowder Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In the world of Resident Evil 9: Requiem, your survival often relies on your ability to manufacture your own Ammo. While playing as Leon Kennedy, finding all Gunpowder locations is the only way to maintain a steady supply of Handgun, Shotgun, and Rifle rounds. Unlike the biological research focus of Grace, Leon relies on traditional tactical scavenging to feed his firearms.

Exploring the Care Center and the ARK facility for these items is essential for any player aiming for the "Master Craftsman" Trophy, which requires you to craft every ammo type Leon can use alongside all other items.

Gunpowder in Requiem comes in two primary forms: Small Gunpowder and Large Gunpowder. By combining these, you can customize your inventory based on the threats ahead:

• 10 x Handgun Ammo: 1 x Scrap + 1 x Gunpowder (Small). This is the most efficient way to keep your primary weapon fed for standard room clearing.
• 3 x Shotgun Shells: 1x Scrap + 1 x Gunpowder (Large). These provide the stopping power needed for the aggressive enemies.
• 5 x Rifle Ammo: 2 x Scrap + 1 x Gunpowder (Large). Keep these for long-range engagements.
• 40 x Machine Gun Ammo: 2 x Scrap + 1 x Gunpowder (Small). Best used when surrounded by a horde of zombies.
• 1 x Hand Grenade: 1 x Scrap + 2 x Gunpowder (Large). Leon can craft both Hand Grenades and Stacked Hand Grenades.

If you are playing on Insanity difficulty, be aware that static Gunpowder spawns are drastically reduced. In this mode, the game prioritizes Scrap and other crafting materials, forcing you to rely more on perfect aiming and stealth. When you do find Gunpowder on Insanity, it is a high-priority resource that should be saved for high-caliber Rifle or Shotgun shells rather than basic Handgun ammo.
