Forza Horizon 6: Speed Zone Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 30 Speed Zones in Forza Horizon 6, spread across Japan from a gentle 80 mph run through the Snow Slopes of Sotoyama to a 205 mph blast along the Ocean Highway on the Tokyo City coast.

They're one of five PR Stunt types alongside Speed Traps, Drift Zones, Danger Signs, and Trailblazers — and the most technically demanding of the speed-based stunts.

How Scoring Works

Speed Zones measure your average speed from the moment you cross the entry flag to the moment you exit.

Peak speed doesn't matter — consistency does. The biggest mistake players make is braking hard inside the zone to handle a corner, which kills the average and destroys the score.

This is the opposite of Speed Traps, which measure instantaneous speed at a single point. A car that is fast in a straight line can fail a Speed Zone entirely if it can't brake, rotate, or recover through corners.

Unlock requirements

Zones unlock progressively through Wristband progression, from Yellow (Highway View, 120 mph) all the way to Gold (Coastal Cliffside on Legend Island, 95 mph).

Completing them earns Wristband progress, Discover Japan Stamps, credit rewards, and Accolade completion.

Speed Zone Progression Rewards

Completing Speed Zones contributes to a dedicated PR Stunt progression track:

  • Tier 4: Speed Zone Master Nomex Racing Suit
  • Tier 8: "Clip the Apex!" Forza Link Phrase
  • Tier 12: Radical SR10
  • Tier 15: 200,000 CR Bonus + 2 Super Wheelspins

Tips for 3-Starring Speed Zones

  • Brake before the zone, not inside it. Drive through each zone once slowly to memorise where the turns are — a blind corner that forces hard braking mid-zone is the most common cause of a failed run.

  • Cutting corners is allowed. Multiple entries in the checklist below explicitly recommend cutting corners to maintain speed — going slightly off the road surface does not trigger a penalty, as long as you don't lose too much momentum.

  • Carry speed into the entry flag at full pace. The average starts the moment you cross the first gate, so arriving fast matters.

  • Use a handling-focused build. The Mercedes-AMG ONE for technical mid-range zones, the Ferrari FXX-K Evo and Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020 for the fastest zones, the Dodge Viper GTS ACR FE (Share Code: 450 873 183) for off-road and curved zones, the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro FE for snow and mixed-surface zones, and the Ford Escort RS Cosworth for the slower mountain zones.

All 30 locations are pinned on our FH6 Japan interactive map, with required speeds, recommended cars, start positions, and Share Codes in the checklist below.
