Forza Horizon 6: Drag Racing Event Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 3 Drag Racing Events in Forza Horizon 6, each using a different strip length and rewarding a different kind of build:

  • Horizon Festival Drag Racing Event — 0.6 miles at the Horizon Festival site in Ohtani (Green Wristband)
  • Irokawa Space Centre Drag Racing Event — 0.2 miles alongside the Space Centre in Nangan (Pink Wristband)
  • Ito Airfield Drag Racing Event — 0.5 miles on the Ito runway in the Minamino area (Orange Wristband)

Notably, all three events have no car class restriction — unlike almost every other Festival race category, you can enter with any car in your garage.

That makes them one of the few places in the Festival roster where your fastest, most extreme build is always eligible.

Drag Racing Events vs Drag Meets

These Festival races share their physical locations with the three Drag Meets, but they work differently.

Drag Racing Events are structured, solo races that count directly toward Wristband progression and Festival accolades.

Drag Meets are open-world social events where up to 12 players stage simultaneously from synchronized start lights.

If you're after competitive live racing against other players, that's the Drag Meets. If you're here to earn Wristband points and complete Festival events, these are the ones.

What Matters on Each Strip

The key metrics in drag racing are Speed, Acceleration, and Launch, and the weight of each shifts with strip distance:

  • Irokawa Space Centre (0.2 mi) — The shortest strip. Launch and off-the-line acceleration are decisive. AWD builds with maximum Launch ratings dominate here.

  • Ito Airfield (0.5 mi) — Better suited to cars with strong mid-range acceleration rather than pure off-the-line explosiveness.

  • Horizon Festival (0.6 mi) — The longest strip, where top-speed builds come into their own. Top-speed cars like the Venom F5 and Koenigsegg Jesko are at their best here.

Once you've completed each event for the first time, the Race Customizer unlocks for that strip, letting you replay with any car and custom difficulty settings.

All 3 locations are accurately marked on our Forza Horizon 6 game map.

Also worth checking: the Drag Meets guide for the open-world multiplayer version, and Aftermarket Cars — the best drag-spec builds in the game, including the Mazda MX-5 Miata Forza Edition, can appear at the Aftermarket spot near the Festival strip.
