Fast Travel Boards in Forza Horizon 5 are the 50 orange bonus boards hidden across Mexico that reduce the cost of fast travel by 200 credits each — from the starting price of 10,000 credits per trip down to zero once all 50 are smashed.

Collecting every board makes fast travel permanently free for the rest of the campaign. All 50 locations, including the two rooftop boards that need a specific approach, are fully documented and ready for live tracking on our complete interactive FH5 Mexico map.

The Complete Collection Trophy: 250 Boards Total

"Complete Collection" (Bronze) — find and smash all 250 Bonus Boards in Mexico.

Fast Travel Boards and XP Boards are the same collectible type — Bonus Boards — and their counts combine toward this single trophy: 50 Fast Travel Boards + 200 XP Boards = 250 total.

Smashing all 50 Fast Travel Boards alone earns free fast travel but not the trophy; all 200 XP Boards must also be cleared for Complete Collection to unlock.

Collect Boards Early: The Credit Maths

Fast travel starts at 10,000 credits per trip. Every Fast Travel Board smashed reduces that cost by exactly 200 credits. At 25 boards, fast travel costs 5,000 credits.

At 50 boards, it costs nothing. The campaign involves a large amount of fast travel — starting the board sweep during the first hours of play rather than the last accumulates significant credit savings across hundreds of trips.

Most of the 50 boards are accessible from the moment the first set of races unlocks, making an early sweep both feasible and financially worthwhile.

Two Routes to Free Fast Travel: Boards vs Buenas Vistas

There are two distinct systems that affect fast travel costs, and they operate independently:

• Fast Travel Boards — smashing all 50 removes the credit cost of fast-travelling to any Festival Site or Outpost that has already been built. Fast travel is still limited to those fixed locations regardless of how many boards are smashed.

• Buenas Vistas Player House (2,000,000 credits, Street Scene area) — purchasing this house unlocks the ability to fast-travel to any point on the map, not just Festival Sites. This is only available after completing the Guanajuato Expedition (which builds the Street Scene Outpost and reveals Buenas Vistas on the map).

Combining both systems — zero-cost fast travel from boards, anywhere-on-the-map fast travel from Buenas Vistas — gives complete unrestricted movement at no credit cost.

The Two Rooftop Boards: Ramp Required

48 of the 50 Fast Travel Boards sit at ground level or near natural ramps and require no special technique. The final two sit on rooftops:

• Costa Rocosa rooftop board — on the roof of a house in Costa Rocosa. Start south of the board, drive straight north at full speed, and use the small hill immediately south of the house as a launch ramp. A fast car with high top speed (the Bugatti Divo is recommended in the guide) carries enough momentum to clear the roof height.

• Small pink house rooftop board — on the roof of a small pink house. Start in the valley to the north, drive south, and use the hill between the starting point and the house as a natural ramp. Same speed requirement — a production hypercar or high-PI car handles both rooftops cleanly.
