In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Points of Interest (POIs) are the foundations of your journey. To successfully expand the Chiral Network across Mexico and Australia, you must locate and connect 42 Facilities, unlock 9 Hot Springs, and restore 9 Mines.
Connecting these locations is the only way to earn the Keep on Connecting trophy and unlock the high-tier gear—like the monorail system and the DHV Magellan upgrades—required to survive the aggressive BT nexus and the "Golden Chiral" creatures.
While many locations are part of the main path, several "Hidden Preppers" require you to find Lost Cargo in the world before they will even appear on your map.
To find the hardest to reach POIs, like The Phantom Smith or The Tar Therapist, you should prioritize building Watchtowers in high-altitude areas. Use your scanner to look for "Lost Cargo" belonging to specific NPCs; delivering these items is often the only way to reveal their shelter.
If you are aiming for 100% completion, make sure you have connected every facility to the network before completing Order 64, as the world state changes significantly during the final act.
Alternatively, you can easily track them on our Death Stranding 2: On the Beach interactive maps or on the following checklist.
