Crimson Desert: Greymane Shrine Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 11 Greymane Shrines in Crimson Desert — stone waypoints placed across Pywel by the Greymanes during their years as a wandering mercenary faction.

Each shrine was used to relay information between scattered members of the band: a communication network built from ordinary-looking cairns and altar stones that most travellers walk past without noticing.

The game describes their current state as having a "purpose now unclear," but for players following Kliff's story, finding them adds texture to the Greymane history that the main quest only partially explains.

What Greymane Shrines Look Like

Shrines don't appear as major icons on the world map. They're intentionally subtle — stone cairns, weapon-laden altars, and simple marker stones placed at crossroads, riverbanks, and mountain passes.

Activating Guiding Light (L1+R1 / LB+RB) while travelling between major hubs highlights nearby points of interest and can help you spot shrines you'd otherwise ride past.

The four Hernand shrines cover the region's major geographic areas: the Nas River Shrine in central Hernand along the riverbank, the Sunrise Plains Shrine in the south, the Deepfog Basin Shrine in the Calphade area, and the Silverwolf Mountain Shrine in the northern highlands.

Hernand has the highest shrine density — reflecting its role as the Greymanes' primary base of operations.

Demeniss has three shrines: two flanking the Kingshield Mountains (one on the northwestern outskirts to the south, one in northern Demeniss to the north), and a third tucked between trees in the region's interior.

The two Kingshield Mountain shrines were used as relay points along the Greymanes' northern route.

The Crimson Desert region has two shrines — the Rainforest Shrine in the region's forested interior, and an unnamed shrine north of the river between the Crimson Desert and Demeniss on the border crossing.

Delesyia has one: the Beardtree Shrine in the Beardtree Hills in the north.

Pailune has one: the Lake Mistveil Shrine on the frozen shores.
