Crimson Desert: Landmark Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Crimson Desert Landmarks are the named locations that make up Pywel's map — every settlement, castle, ruin, farm, camp, monastery, shipwreck, and point of interest that becomes visible and labelled when you approach it.

With over 780 confirmed named locations across all five regions, this is the most comprehensive named-location database available for Crimson Desert, all indexed in the Crimson Desert guide hub and pinned on MapMaster's regional maps.

How Landmarks Are Discovered

Landmarks don't require any special interaction — travel to the location and approach it for the name to appear on your map and minimap.

Once discovered, the landmark becomes a permanent reference point visible on the world map.

Discovering all named locations in a region contributes to Pywel exploration completion, and several landmarks are tied directly to Faction Quests and Bounty Notice trigger points that won't activate until you've physically found the location first.

What the Checklist Covers

The 780+ Landmarks span every named location type across Pywel:

  • Major settlements — the cities, towns, and villages that serve as service hubs across all five regions: Thalwynd, Kharonso, Varnia, Arcosa, Tommaso, Beighen, Tinkerton, Burhum, Odeck, Skoghorn, and dozens more.

  • Castles and fortresses — every major military structure on the continent: Hernand Castle, Calphade Castle, Demeniss Castle, Delesyia Castle, Arboria Castle, Fort Ironclad, Fort Hellwood, Fort Warspike, Fort Askelund, Whisperleaf Fortress, Steinnfell Fortress, Vat'nholl Fortress, Scorchrock Castle, Izvatu Fortress, and Crimson Mountains Fortress.

  • Ruins and ancient sites — scattered across every region. Ancient Ruins entries appear throughout Hernand, Demeniss, Delesyia, Pailune, and the Crimson Desert, alongside named ruins like Hernandian Ruins, Demenissian Ruins, Delesyian Ruins, Whisperleaf Ruins, and the haunting Frostveiled Castle Ruins in Pailune.

  • Shipwrecks — more than a dozen confirmed: Eldertree Cliff Shipwreck, Three Brothers' Cliff Shipwreck, Bay of Abundance Shipwreck, Silvermoon Shore Shipwreck, Frozen Shipwreck in Hernand, Sea Haze Shipwreck, and multiple coastal wrecks across Delesyia, including the Aeronautical Research Base Shipwreck and Marni's Laboratorium Coastal Wreckage.

  • Religious sites and cultural monuments — Church of Hernand, Church of Calphade, Cathedral of Demeniss, Reventine Monastery, Jijeong Temple and Pagoda, Bamboo Forest Seonangdang, Clay Urn Necropolis, Riverbed Terrace Shrine, and the Wyvern landmarks cluster in Demeniss — Wyvern's Sanctum, Wyvern's Cradle, Forsaken Wyvern Nest, Desolate Wyvern Nest, and Forgotten Wyvern Nest.

  • Ironcrawler Stations — a transit system unique to Delesyia and the Crimson Desert region. Stations including Drywind Valley, Mechaloop, Chittering Forest, Eastern Hills, Gorthak Gate, Crimson Mountains, Timeworn Ruins, Sandshift Basin, Forebearer's Barrens, Rockshard Mountain, and Duskway Camp form a rail-like network covering the continent's southern and desert zones.

  • Notable individual Landmarks — Marni's Masterium and Marni's Laboratorium (the industrial research complex central to Delesyia's storyline), Goldenfist Arena (Hernand), The Laughing Marionette (Demeniss), Demeniss Wildlife Park, Hexe Sanctuary (tied to the Hexe Marie boss storyline), Scholastone Archive (separate from Scholastone Institute), and Goldleaf Guildhouse (Hernand).
