Crimson Desert: Dagger Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 10 Daggers in Crimson Desert, and they occupy a fundamentally different role from every other weapon in Kliff's arsenal.

Daggers have their own dedicated equipment slot separate from the standard weapon slots. They function as stealth tools rather than standard weapons and are primarily used for stealth executions.

It is the fastest melee weapon in the game, and it excels at hit-and-run tactics — but its short range demands aggressive close-quarters positioning and an intimate knowledge of enemy attack patterns and recovery frames.

Every dagger location is pinned on MapMaster's region maps available via our Crimson Desert guide hub.

How Daggers Work

Core dagger abilities are Swift Stab, Evasive Slash, and Finisher — chain fast attacks into a Finisher for burst damage.

Daggers shine against isolated single targets and are the primary tool for the Assassination mechanic: approach an unaware enemy from behind while crouching, equip the dagger from your weapon radial, and execute a silent takedown.

The Dagger pairs particularly well with the Blinding Flash ability — impairing an enemy's targeting dramatically increases the window for safe approach and execution.

For open combat, the Rapier fills the fast-weapon role that daggers vacate — it offers comparable attack speed with a combat moveset designed for head-on encounters.

The stealth-hybrid build most commonly pairs a Bow for ranged opening shots, a Sword for group combat, and a Dagger for isolated high-value stealth takedowns.

The 10 Daggers and Where To Find Them

Most daggers are world pickups with distinctive environmental storytelling.

  • The Goblin King's Treasure Dagger is inside the Mudridge Cabin Treasure Chest in Hernand — accessed by crouching through the moving wooden wall beneath the shorter cabin.
  • The Alabastar Dagger in Demeniss is stuck in the body of a dead whale on the beach — one of the more memorable finds in the game.
  • Ator's Finger in the Crimson Desert region is embedded in the center of a withered two-branched tree, surrounded by arrows.
  • The Dagger of Dark Pursuit requires reaching the treasure chest in the Sanctum of Solace area in Pailune.
  • The King's Dagger is in a secret basement treasure chest, also in Pailune.
  • The Varnian Dagger is the only enemy drop, a random chance from Goblin Fundamentalists in southern Hernand.

All 10 dagger locations are pinned on the Hernand interactive map (5 daggers), Pailune map guide (3 daggers), Demeniss region map (1 dagger), and Crimson Desert interactive region map (1 dagger), with exact pickup positions in the checklist below. For other one-handed weapons, see the Sword, Mace, and Rapier guides.

Note: While these weapons have numerous spawn points, our maps highlight one accessible location for each—typically in a safe area where you can collect them without committing a crime.
