Borderlands 4 (BL4): Zane's Munitions Vending Machine Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Zane's Munitions Vending Machines are the offensive gear vendors of Borderlands 4 — over 50 machines placed inside Safehouses, Order Silos, and boss arenas across Kairos, restocking weapons and ordnance at every major waypoint.

Every machine location is marked at exact coordinates on the Borderlands 4 maps, complementing the defensive gear sold by Zed's Meds at the same locations.

What Zane's Munitions Vending Machines Sell

Every Zane's Munitions machine stocks three item categories, purchasable with Money:

• Weapons — a rotating selection of guns across all manufacturer types and rarities, scaled to the Vault Hunter's current level. Higher rarity weapons refresh periodically, making revisiting machines at level cap worthwhile for Legendary rolls.

• Grenade Ordnance — throwable explosives for the Ordnance slot, from basic frags to elemental and area-denial variants.

• Heavy Ordnance — launcher-class Ordnance for the Ordnance slot, including rocket variants and multi-projectile payloads.

All three categories can also be sold back to any Zane's Munitions machine — mark unwanted drops as junk and sell in bulk directly from the inventory screen to fund respawn runs at Moxxi's Big Encore machines.

The Cooldown Reset Mechanic

Since the October 2025 patch, interacting with any Zane's Munitions machine — like Zed's Meds — resets all Action Skill, Ordnance, and Repkit cooldowns instantly.

Every machine becomes a free cooldown reset before a boss encounter or Encore run, regardless of whether any item is purchased.

Vend of the Line: The Side Mission Built Around These Machines

The Vend of the Line Side Mission — unlocked after completing Main Mission 8: Siege and Destroy — sends Vault Hunters across Carcadia Burn to crack codes on specific Zane's Munitions machines before hunting down a legendary ultimate vending machine.

The machines involved span Ruined Sumplands (quest start in Carcadia City, rooftop machine), Lopside (Embracer's Bluff), and Grindstone of the Worthy (Crumblehall and The Dusty Dangler), all cross-linked in this guide's entries.

The trail ends with a Boss fight against Vend Zane — a rogue Legendary Vending Machine that grows legs and attacks. After defeating it, a Legendary Vending Machine appears, selling one legendary weapon for $1.

The Missable All Things Vend Trophy

All Things Vend is permanently missable. Vend of the Line cannot be replayed — once the final machine is interacted with, the opportunity is gone. To unlock the trophy before completing the mission:

• After defeating Vend Zane, do not immediately buy from the Legendary Vending Machine
• Find the wooden board on the floor where Vend Zane stood — it shows the code: sell 3 green items, buy 1 legendary
• Sell 3 green (Common) items to the machine first
• Do not refill ammo — the machine only permits one purchase, and ammo counts as that purchase, locking out the legendary
• Buy one legendary weapon — any item qualifies
• The machine drops a Picture of Zane and Levaine — collect it and deliver to Zane at Moxxi's Bottoms Up in the Ruined Sumplands to complete the quest and unlock the trophy

Do not play Vend of the Line in co-op. Only one player can purchase from the Legendary Vending Machine — in a party, only that player receives the reward, and all others lose access permanently.
