Borderlands 4 (BL4): Contracts Board Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
In Borderlands 4, cash is king, but reputation is far more important. Contract Boards are specialized mission kiosks found within Safehouses and Faction Towns across the planet Kairos.
Unlike standard side missions, these provide an endless stream of work for Vault Hunters looking to grind XP, Eridium, and high-tier loot. Accepting these jobs is not just about the money—completing them is mandatory for trophy hunters.
You must finish 80 unique contracts to unlock the "Freelance, but Not for Free" trophy/achievement.
Contracts range from simple "Collect/Retrieve" tasks to dangerous "Bounty Hunts" that require you to eliminate specific Badass enemies. In addition to cash and XP, these are a primary source of Eridium, which is essential for endgame re-rolls; however, you can only accept up to 5 repeatable contracts at a time.
