Borderlands 4 (BL4): Burrito Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Borderlands 4 Burritos are 15 hidden food items scattered across Dominion City — small prop burritos tucked into some of the least obvious corners of all three districts, with no in-game challenge counter, no map markers, and no progress indicator of any kind.

Shooting all 15 unlocks a secret room in Upper Dominion containing Dave the Burrito — a golden spinning burrito whose discovery triggers the Guac is Extra trophy and achievement.

Every Burrito location is tracked at exact coordinates on the Borderlands 4 interactive maps, with a progress tracker that fills in for the in-game tracking that doesn't exist.

What Burritos Are in Borderlands 4

Burritos are small environmental props — miniature wrapped burritos placed in deliberately obscure locations across Dominion City.

On rooftops, inside Kratch nests, on toilets, under pumpkin shelves, in the hands of hanged corpses, behind market stalls, and tucked into kitchen shelving — they are consistently placed where a first-time player would never look.

Burritos are shot rather than collected: approach a Burrito's location, aim at it, and fire. The destruction registers the find. A Burrito that was accidentally shot during a firefight in its area may already be gone — if one position in the guide shows nothing on arrival, it is likely already counted.

There is no in-game tracker. No counter displays in the HUD, no challenge tally fills a bar, and no map icon appears for any Burrito before or after shooting it. The game provides no feedback on how many have been found or how many remain.

MapMaster's progress tracker is the only way to record individual Burritos as they're found and identify precisely which of the 15 remain — check each entry in the guide below as each Burrito is destroyed.

Three Districts, Five Burritos Each

The 15 Burritos are divided evenly — 5 per district — across the three main areas of Dominion City:

  • Carcadia District — accessible after completing Main Mission 17: The Falling Wall. Five Burritos span the district: on the tilted metal plate on the lower roof of Mossmellow Retreat, behind a bench near a toilet in The Groaning Core, on a Kratch nest in the lower acid area, behind a small crate next to a passed-out man in the upper-level green neon shelter, and behind the encampment booth where two NPCs are arguing.

  • Terminus District — also unlocked during Mission 17. Five Burritos span the district: on the counter inside Whimsy Willies in the Food Court Safehouse, on the toilet in the refrigerator room, on the side of the washing machine near the "Get The Funk Out" sign, on the top kitchen shelf inside the building between One Kairos News Network and No Escape Room, and under the pumpkin pot at Mr. Cucur Bills market stall at Frantic Scrawl.

  • Fades District — accessible only after completing Main Mission 18: Means of Ascent. This district is story-gated later than the other two. Five Burritos span the district: on the crates under the stairs east of Zadra's Lab, in the grass next to a tree and a spotlight, between a small cube building with an umbrella and a wooden pallet, behind the beat box chest between the body pool and the railing, and in the hand of the man strung up at the entrance to the Ripper camp.

Dave the Burrito: The Secret Room in Upper Dominion

After all 15 Burritos are shot, a door opens in Upper Dominion — accessible after completing Main Mission 20: The Timekeeper's Order, or via fast travel to the central Upper Dominion marker after the story concludes.

Navigate to the northern Vault Symbol in Upper Dominion — it sits behind a small waterfall. Glide into the waterfall area and take the newly opened pathway opposite the Vault Symbol. At the end is Dave: a golden, spinning Burrito floating in the centre of the room.

Approach it — the Guac is Extra trophy and achievement unlocks on proximity. The room also contains 6 loot containers: 2 Red Chests and 4 White Chests.

None of the 15 Burritos are missable. All are accessible in free roam after the story is completed. Return to any district at any point via fast travel to finish the hunt.
