Assassin's Creed Shadows: Cultural Discovery Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Improving your knowledge of Feudal Japan is just as important as mastering the sword in Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. Cultural Discoveries are special collectibles that provide insight into the traditions, historical figures, and landmarks of the Sengoku period.

Beyond the historical lore, finding these points grants you Experience (XP) and contributes to your Knowledge Rank, which is essential for unlocking high-tier skills for both Naoe and Yasuke.

These discoveries are spread across the game's many provinces, from the heights of Osaka Castle to the paths of the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. While some are automatically recorded as you progress through the main story, many "Marvels of Japan" and "Historical Character" entries are hidden within shrines, temples, and ports like Sakai. To complete your Codex, you'll need to explore every corner of the map.
