Resident Evil Requiem: Charm Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Charms in Resident Evil Requiem are passive upgrades for both Grace Ashcroft and Leon Kennedy — found in the Care Center, East Raccoon City, and Raccoon City Center.

How Do Charms Work in Resident Evil Requiem?

The system works differently depending on which character you're playing. Grace uses Inventory Charms — they sit in her attaché case and give her bonuses just by being there.

No setup, no extra steps. As long as a charm is taking up a slot in her inventory, it's active. You can stack every single one if you want, but each one costs precious item space.

Leon's Weapon Charms are different — each one must be physically attached to a specific firearm type through your inventory or the Tune Up menu at a supply locker.

Grace's Inventory Charms: Carry Them to Activate

Eye Spy Charm — drops from the Chunk enemy in the corridor outside the Lead Researcher's Office in the Care Center East Wing. This is Grace's most valuable charm, especially on higher difficulty settings — it gives you a second chance in critical moments when a hit would otherwise kill you. You must kill Chunk as Grace during her section before he later encounters Leon. Defeating Chunk again in NG+ drops 4 Antique Coins instead.

Stakeout Takeout Charm — on a shelf in the Care Center Pantry (1F). Increases knife power and durability. To access the Pantry, you must first kill the Chef zombie who patrols the West Wing Kitchen. Use a Hemolytic Injector for a clean one-or two-shot kill, then use the Pantry Key to enter.

Connoisseur Charm — in the Warped Closet inside the same Pantry room. Effect details are not yet confirmed in the checklist — check the interactive entry for the latest data.

Rugged Rookie Charm — not a world pickup. Purchased from the Special Content menu using challenge points earned during your playthrough. Increases Grace's overall firepower.

Leon's Weapon Charms: Equip to Each Firearm

BSAA Emblem — on a crate inside BSAA Container 04 in East Raccoon City. Improves sniper rifle damage when the scope is not equipped. See the BSAA Container guide for how to unlock Container 04 via the sewers revisit.

Power Shades — inside the locked briefcase in the locker room at the back of the S.T.A.R.S. Office in Raccoon City Center. Open the briefcase with code RRR. Power Shades offer limitless bullet penetration plus a last-round damage spike — arguably the most unique charm in the game.

S.T.A.R.S. Emblem Charm — inside the Locked Locker in the West Office, Raccoon City Center. Effect: increases firepower for S.T.A.R.S.-affiliated weapons.

Cute Bear — on the ground next to green tanks in Raccoon City Center. Effect: passive support buff for Leon.

First Playthrough Only: Don't Miss These Three

Three charms are permanently unavailable from NG+ onwards.

• The S.T.A.R.S. Emblem Charm locker contains only Zoo tickets in New Game Plus.
• The Cute Bear does not respawn.
• The Power Shades briefcase is empty on all subsequent playthroughs. Collect all three before finishing your first run — there is no recovery option in later playthroughs.

The R.P.D. Amulet: Deluxe Edition and Five Notes Required

The R.P.D. Amulet spawns next to a traffic cone in Raccoon City Center, but only under two conditions: you must own the Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil Requiem, and you must have already collected all five "From Meryl to Mommy" notes — four in East Raccoon City and one in Raccoon City Center.

Both conditions must be met in the same playthrough for the charm to appear.

Charms You Can Earn Through Challenge Points

The Rugged Rookie Charm (Grace) and Trusted Companion Charm (Leon) can both be purchased from the Special Content menu using challenge points accumulated through your playthrough.

Once purchased, they become available from item boxes and supply boxes on all future runs, including New Game Plus.
