Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight: Shop Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Bat-Mite — the dimension-hopping Batman superfan — has apparently opened a retail operation. Shops in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight are the 10 "Bat-Mite The Store" locations spread across every open-world district and The Batcave itself, each selling Outfits, Furniture props, and Red Bricks for Studs.

Purchasing 5 items from any shop unlocks the "You either buy a hero..." achievement — a reference to Alfred's famous line from Batman Begins.

Why 9 Red Bricks Come Exclusively From Bat-Mite

Of the game's 23 Red Bricks, 14 are hidden inside story missions, and 9 are only available for purchase at Bat-Mite's store — there's no other way to obtain them.

Since Red Bricks unlock new color schemes for suits and vehicles, completionists who want all 23 Red Bricks (and the "Does it come in black?" achievement) must spend Studs at Bat-Mite's counter for the final nine.

One Important Shopping Habit: Don't Leave Without Buying

Shop inventory refreshes each time you return to the Batcave. If a specific suit, prop, or Red Brick appears in the store but you leave without buying it, it may not be available on your next visit.

The practical approach: buy every new item when it appears rather than deferring, since the inventory doesn't guarantee the same stock on the next visit.

All 10 Shop Locations and Their Unlock Conditions

All shops sell the same three category types — Outfits, Furniture, Red Bricks — with individual item availability rotating per visit.

• The Batcave — primary Bat-Mite shop, unlocks during the "Home Sweet Home" Mission (Chapter 2 start). The largest and most consistently accessible store.
• Tricorner — west side of the district. Unlocks after Home Sweet Home.
• Old Gotham South — northwestern side. Unlocks after Home Sweet Home.
• Old Gotham North — eastern side, by the water. Unlocks after Home Sweet Home.
• Old Gotham West — eastern edge, by the crossroads. Unlocks after Home Sweet Home.
• The Cauldron South — centre crossroads. Unlocks after Home Sweet Home.
• The Cauldron North — Ace Chemicals — southern crossroads. Unlocks after Home Sweet Home.
• Newtown — base of the Exchange blue-sign building, centre district crossroads. Unlocks on first arrival to Newtown — earlier than most shops.
• Gotham Village — Robinson Park — southern side, base of a tall building. Unlocks on district arrival.
• East End — Amusement Mile — southern side between the street and the water. Unlocks on district arrival.

• "You either buy a hero..." — purchase any 5 items from any Shops. Completable in a single Batcave visit, the moment the store unlocks.

• "Not Just a Cave" — place 5 Props or Trophies in the Batcave. The Furniture and Props bought from Bat-Mite directly contribute, making a quick shopping run immediately after Home Sweet Home the fastest path to both achievements at once.
