Dragon Age The Veilguard: Armor Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, collecting armor isn't just about looking good. It is actually the main way to make your character stronger. That's because if you find an armor piece you already have, it’s not a waste. Instead, the game automatically upgrades your gear. Finding a duplicate takes your armor from Common to Rare, all the way up to Legendary.


This means if you want the best stats for your Warrior, Rogue, or Mage, you can't just find an item once—you need to hunt down every copy of it hidden in the world. There are tons of Helmets and Body Armor pieces hidden across Northern Thedas. You can buy some from Faction Merchants, but the best ones are usually hidden in locked chests or dropped by tough bosses.


Since you can use the Transmog system to change your look whenever you want, your main goal should be finding these duplicates to max out your defense.

We have listed the locations for every unique armor piece below; however, our Dragon Age: The Veilguard interactive maps include every duplicate you can find.
