Doom: The Dark Ages: Weapon Skin Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Doom: The Dark Ages, personalizing your arsenal is part of the Slayer’s journey. There are 21 Weapon Skins locations available throughout the game's Chapters. However, some of the Weapon Skins can be obtained multiple times, just in case you missed them the first time.

Weapon Skins in Doom: The Dark Ages can be found directly in the game's world, received as rewards for completing Mission Challenges, or obtained for completing Weapon Mastery Challenges.

While skins are purely cosmetic and do not impact your damage or unlock trophies, they are the ultimate completionist goals. Most weapons feature three main unlockable tiers: Nightmare, Reverent, and Conqueror.

• Nightmare Skins: These are found as physical items in the world, marked on your Automap by a Paintbrush Icon. They are often hidden in Secret Areas.
• Reverent Skins: These are earned by completing specific Mission Challenges within a chapter (e.g., destroying all Artillery Cannons).
• Conqueror Skins: These "Golden Skins" are unlocked only after fully upgrading a weapon at a Sentinel Shrine and completing its unique Mastery Challenge. Once you have fully upgraded a weapon and spent a Wraithstone on its final tier, you can complete its Mastery Challenge to earn the Conqueror Skin.

Because some skins are tied to difficult challenges like the Veteran Pursuer chase or the Death Clock timing, they are among the most frequently missed items.
