In Doom: The Dark Ages, Landing Zones are the connections between the high-flying dragon combat and the "boots-on-the-ground" gameplay. There are 15 Landing Zones in total, appearing as glowing green Sentinel circles.
While many are mandatory for story progression, the Secret Landing Zones are the most important, as they are the only way to access high-tier collectibles like Wraithstones and Ruby Chests.
Landing Zones function as insertion points. Some are active the moment you enter a chapter, while others require you to "clear the LZ" by destroying demonic anti-air turrets or clearing waves of aerial enemies.
Because several zones—like LZ #2 in Chapter 13—are hidden in vertical space (above or below the main path), they are easy to fly past. To make sure you don't have to replay any of the game's missions, we have marked all Landing Zone locations on our interactive Doom: The Dark Ages mission maps, which you can visit via the links in the following guide.
