Doom: The Dark Ages: Hell Fighter Ship Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
In Doom: The Dark Ages, Hell Fighter Ships are high-speed demonic scouts encountered during dragon-mounted combat sections. These vessels leave a distinct green energy trail and will attempt to flee the moment you engage them.
Destroying them is essential for earning extra Gold and completing three high-tier mission challenges: Cat and Mouse, Veteran Pursuer, and Expert Stalker.
Hell Fighter Ships are designed to outmaneuver you. To successfully bring them down:
- Hold your boost to maintain speed; if you stop boosting for even a second, they will likely vanish.
- Their erratic movement requires you to aim slightly ahead of their green trail.
- If a ship escapes, immediately Restart from Checkpoint. The ships spawn at specific moments, and a restart is much faster than replaying the entire chapter.
- Every Hell Fighter Ship destroyed grants a direct +20 Gold payout.
