Doom: The Dark Ages: Artillery Cannon Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In the battlefields of Doom: The Dark Ages, the forces of Hell utilize massive Artillery Cannons to rain fire upon the Night Sentinel army. There are a total of 7 Artillery Cannons hidden across two specific chapters.

Destroying all of them is mandatory for completing the "Siege Breaker" and "Cannon Crusher" mission challenges.

Unlike standard structures, these cannons are reinforced against conventional firepower. To take them down, you must use the Slayer’s Shield Saw:

• Look for a large, circular Green Symbol (the bash target) on the side or rear of the cannon.
• Hold your block and perform a Shield Charge directly into the symbol.
• Every destroyed cannon leaves behind a stack of Gold Ingots. Take these to the nearest Sentinel Shrine to purchase permanent upgrades for your armor, health, or weapon potency.

Artillery Cannons are the single most concentrated source of Gold in the game. If you want to max out your Slayer’s Health and Armor early, you cannot afford to skip these. Furthermore, completing the Chapter 6 challenge is a requirement for 100% mission completion and unlocking the Reverent Skin set.
