Crimson Desert: Mount Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
In Crimson Desert, mounts are categorized into four distinct tiers: Standard/Legendary Horses, Legendary Creatures (Boss Mounts), Mechanical Constructs, and Dragons. While basic horses can be purchased at stables in Hernand or Calphade, the elite mounts require you to track them in the wild, defeat them in combat, or complete late-game story chapters.
Legendary Horses offer the best speed and stamina stats for standard travel. To tame them, you’ll need at least Stamina Level 5 and a few successful attempts at the taming mini-game.
To unlock the Legendary Creature Mounts, you must defeat the named creature and take its unique drop (claws, tusks, etc.) to Elowen the Witch in the Witchwoods to craft a Sigil of Solidarity.
Mechanical and Dragon Mounts are usually unlocked via story progression. For example, the Blackstar (Flying Dragon) is a guaranteed story unlock at the end of Chapter 11 after the "Whispers in the Wind" quest. It is the only mount capable of full flight across Pywel.

For players who prioritize survival, Rokade is the top choice. He is a war horse with the most health in the entire game, allowing you to charge into battle without worrying about your horse folding under pressure. |
