Crimson Desert: Cauldron Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Crimson Desert Cauldrons are alchemy crafting stations — the only place in Pywel where you can brew elixirs, dyes, grenades, and weapon imbues from reagents, catalysts, and empty bottles.

They're entirely separate from Bonfires and cooking pots, which handle food-based healing and buffs.

Cauldrons handle the Abyss science side: elixirs that extend Spirit windows, dyes that change Kliff's appearance, and grenades that apply elemental effects in combat.

How Many and Where

MapMaster has pinned 13 Cauldron locations across four regions — approximately 15 individual units given several entries are marked x2 — making this the most complete Cauldron database available for Crimson Desert.

The most accessible early-game Cauldron is inside the Hernand Alchemy Shop. Two additional Cauldrons are on the porches of the Florindale and Petalton Workshop buildings — both outdoors and freely accessible without entering a building.

The Pororin Cauldron on the small northern hill outside Pororin village is another outdoor option available early in Hernand's exploration.

More valuable but harder to reach: the Cauldron inside the Witch's House in Hernand (unlocks with the Chapter 3 Witch questline at Shadow's Whisper Cave) and the ones tied to Sanctum locations — these sit near Witch vendors who sell Abyss Gear and recipe blueprints, making them natural one-stop crafting hubs.

Before You Brew

There are two prerequisites before using any Cauldron: activated Alchemy Recipes in your Knowledge menu (equip the recipe scroll and shine your Lantern on it to register it permanently), and Empty Bottles in your inventory — available in bulk from any Provisioner's Shop.

Once both are in place, interact with the Cauldron and select your recipe from the Knowledge menu.

You can also improvise at a Cauldron without a pre-learned recipe — brew an improvised combination successfully three times to permanently unlock it.
