There are 25 Mr. Raccoon Memoriams in Resident Evil Requiem — small dancing raccoon figurines hidden across the Care Center, East Raccoon City, Raccoon City Center, and the ARK.

How Do You Collect Mr. Raccoon Memoriams?

Mr. Raccoon Memoriams are small dancing raccoon figurines that emit a loud mechanical rattling noise when you are nearby — a sound that becomes invaluable for tracking down the better-hidden ones.

Destroying them is mandatory — shoot or hit with a melee attack. Walking past does not add them to your tally.

Some are placed in obviously visible spots; others are on high windows, inside pipes, inside fridges, or on distant highway vans requiring sniper rifle shots.

Your first destruction triggers the "The Hunt Begins" trophy on PlayStation and its equivalent achievement on other platforms.

The Reward: Advanced Tuning for Leon's Weapons

Destroying all 25 unlocks the You Little Rascal! trophy and Advanced Tuning for Leon's full arsenal — a third upgrade tier for every weapon component, each with a unique Max Out ability.

This is not a cosmetic unlock — it's a genuine power ceiling increase that makes Leon's weapons significantly stronger, particularly relevant on Insanity difficulty where every damage point matters.

Advanced Tuning unlocks in the Special Content menu and enables certain guns to be upgraded to their maximum potential.

Character-Locked Raccoons: What Only Leon Can Reach

Two raccoons in the Care Center require specific character access.

• The Records Room raccoon is inside a Warped Closet — Grace can't open warped closets, so only Leon can pry it open with his Hatchet.
• The Medication Room raccoon requires the Level 3 ID Wristband — found behind the bend in the cell, obtainable once you reach that story point.
• The Courtyard raccoon requires shooting through the gap between the railing and the fence from the Roof — line up the Classic 70 and fire through that narrow space.
• The Logistics Warehouse Roof raccoon is on a highway van visible from the roof — use the sniper rifle to spot and destroy it from a distance.

Tracking Your Progress

The game tracks your total under Challenges > You Little Rascal, but won't tell you which specific ones you're missing — only a running total count.

Use MapMaster's checklist to track each raccoon individually by room and area. Counts carry across all saves and playthroughs — if you reload an old save to destroy a missed raccoon, it still counts toward your total.

Keep manual saves at every major zone transition — they're your safety net if you miss one and need to backtrack without losing significant progress.

After completing the game, maps marking all Mr. Raccoon locations become purchasable from the Bonus Menu for subsequent playthroughs — a significant time-saver for Insanity runs.

• East Raccoon City (9 entries): Bus driver's seat, Gas Station shelf, Logistics Warehouse Roof highway van (sniper shot), Central Camp pipe (sniper zoom), Underground Parking Garage boxes, Cafe Oasis cabinet, Subway Ridgewood Station train seat, Willis Tower upper shelf, Cedarbrook Apartments rooftop fridge.

• Raccoon City Center (4 entries): City Center entrance rubble, Library bookcase bottom shelf, Operations Room rubble by wooden boards, Gun Shop Kendo window (must shoot).

• ARK (2 entries): Staff Room crate, Operations Room console.
