Forza Horizon 5 PlayStation: Speed Circuit Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Speed Circuits in Forza Horizon 5 are the 4 looped races in the Horizon Hot Wheels Park that stay entirely on the orange track — through Speed Boosts, loop-de-loops, Air Tracks, and the park's signature water slide — making them the pure high-speed counterpart to the off-road Hazard Circuit and Hazard Sprints.

All 4 locations are included on our FH5 Horizon Hot Wheels Park interactive map.

Unlock: Pro Rank for A Class, Elite for Nexus

Speed Circuits unlock progressively through the Hot Wheels Academy ranks covered in the Exhibition Events guide:

Pro Rank (A Class) — 3 Circuits:

  • Waterslide Speed Circuit [A] — Forest Falls island. The race route includes the wide blue water slide section — the feature that makes this circuit visually unique and mechanically distinct.
  • Dragon's Fall Speed Circuit [A] — a high-speed loop through the park's central track structure.
  • Twin Loop Speed Circuit [A] — routes through the park's double loop section.

Elite Rank (S2 Class) — 1 Circuit:

  • Nexus Speed Circuit [S2] — the park's most demanding Speed Circuit, using the full Nexus track layout at Elite Rank speeds. An S2-class car is required.

The Aquanaut Trophy: Win Waterslide Speed Circuit

"Aquanaut" (Bronze) — the Waterslide Speed Circuit is the first race in the Hot Wheels Park that includes the wide blue water slide track. Completing a race on this circuit unlocks the Aquanaut achievement — the trophy fires the first time the race is finished regardless of finishing position.

It's one of four track-type-specific trophies in the Hot Wheels DLC, each tied to a distinct park feature encountered for the first time in a specific race.

Altitude Quickness: All 4 Must Be Won

"Altitude Quickness" (Bronze) — win all Race Events in Hot Wheels Park.

All 4 Speed Circuits are mandatory wins for this trophy alongside the 7 Hazard Sprints, the Hazard Circuit, the Exhibition Event Qualifiers, and the Speed Sprints.

Track Racing vs Hazard Racing: Why It Matters for Car Choice

Speed Circuit laps stay entirely on the orange Hot Wheels track, using Speed Boost pads (marked in bright orange on the track surface) and Air Tracks for launch sections.

The optimal car for Speed Circuits maximises top-end speed and boost acceleration — a high-top-speed A-class car tuned for straight-line performance outperforms an off-road handling build that would excel in Hazard events.

Hitting every Speed Boost pad on the circuit is equivalent to a significant lap time advantage — missing them is the most common cause of losing Speed Circuit races by a narrow margin.
