Death Stranding 2: On the Beach: Music Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, music is more than just a soundtrack; it is a portable companion that you can control for the first time in the series.

Unlike the previous game, where music was restricted to specific story moments or your Private Room, the sequel introduces a standalone Music Player that allows you to play your unlocked collection while traversing Australia and Mexico.

There are 53 total songs to unlock, featuring artists like Woodkid, Low Roar, Caroline Polachek, and CHVRCHES. To earn the "A Private Show!" trophy and build the complete playlist, you must progress through the story, complete specific Sub-Orders, and maximize your connection levels with key preppers.

You cannot access music during the initial Mexico chapters. The Music Player is unlocked early in Episode 3: Drawbridge, after you travel to Australia:

• Accept the mission "Destroy the Communications Disruptor and Deliver the Mysterious Recording to the Musician", or Main Order 11.
• Travel to the shelter north of the Western Environmental Observatory. Once you deliver the recording and connect him to the Chiral Network, he will gift you the Music Player.
• Open your Ring Terminal (Options button) and select the Music Player icon. You can create up to three custom playlists.

Upon unlocking the player, you immediately receive 18 "Starter" tracks, including Caroline Polachek's On the Beach. The remaining 35 tracks must be found across the world.
