Blades Of Fire: Paladin Sigil Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Paladin Sigils in Blades of Fire are the glowing red name inscriptions that unlock the five Cursed Paladin encounters — without reading a Sigil first, the corresponding Paladin corpse cannot be released, no matter how many times it's interacted with.

There are 5 Paladin Sigils in total, one for each Paladin of the Aurora, spread across five separate regions. As with everything else in the game, all of their locations are included on our Blades of Fire interactive maps.

How to Find a Sigil Before Seeing It

Two detection methods work reliably before a Sigil is in visual range.

First, sound: Sigils emit a low-frequency thrumming vibration audible through walls on headphones, growing louder with proximity.

Second, Adso: standing near an unread Sigil triggers the line "The stone here... it speaks of a name long forgotten" — a reliable audio cue to stop and sweep nearby walls, statues, and trees.

Once found and read, Adso records the name in his Chronicles. At the corpse, Adso performs the ritual, speaking the name aloud to release the Paladin's soul.

All Five Sigil Locations

• Val-Reec's Sigil — Besacarr Hamlet. Engraved on a tree south of the Hollow Plain Forger's Anvil, to the left of the large gate. The most naturally encountered Sigil — most players find it before even noticing the nearby corpse.

• Dharas's Sigil (Paladin of the Dawn) — The Crimson Fort. On the back of a giant statue's head on the roof above the Throne Room Anvil — climb the Library Tower to the roof via the rope and ladder on the eighth floor. Critical warning: if Doyen Graves is visited before this Sigil is collected, it moves to Vhoroo's loot pile in Kar-Lethel Swamp and can only be recovered during the story encounter there.

• Vidit's Sigil — The Egion's Abbey. East of the Library Anvil, inside a circular chamber on the wall. Only accessible after returning to the Abbey during story progression. Vidit's corpse is in the Roggs Mountains at Dhyrias' Forge — up the right staircase inside the forge building.

• Fourth Paladin's Sigil — Winter's Wall. Engraved on the outer wall of a house near the camp. The corresponding corpse is at Veilspan Bridge in The Dryads Forest.

• Havell's Sigil — The Royal Palace. Inside the Throne Room, on the back of the throne itself — a deliberately easy Sigil to miss simply by walking past. The corresponding corpse is within the same area of the Palace, making this the only Sigil and corpse in the same region.

Each Freed Paladin Rewards a Blue Gem

Every successfully released Paladin of the Aurora drops one Blue Gem (Nerea's Tear).

Freeing all five contributes 5 of the 26 gems needed to unlock all 13 Nerea's Statues for the true ending — making the Paladin hunt a meaningful contribution to the broader completion route rather than a standalone side activity.
