Resident Evil Requiem: Empty Bottle Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Resident Evil 9: Requiem, the environment is your greatest weapon, and finding all Empty Bottle locations is the only way to capitalize on the game's throwable crafting system. For Grace Ashcraft, these glass containers are the essential housing for her biological warfare—transforming raw reagents and Infected Blood into lethal Molotov Cocktails and Acid Bottles.

Unlike standard ammo, Empty Bottles are finite world pickups. Missing a stash can leave you without the crowd control necessary to survive the swarms within the Care Center. Empty Bottles serve as the primary vessel for projectile crafting. Depending on your current research and the materials you've scavenged, these bottles can be turned into:

Molotov Cocktails: Created by combining 1x Empty Bottle and 60x Infected Blood. These are vital for incinerating flammable bio-organic threats.
Bottle of Acid: Crafted using 1x Empty Bottle and 80x Infected Blood. These deal massive damage to Lickers in the ARK.
Distraction Lures: In certain stealth segments, throwing an Empty Bottle at a hard surface is the only way to divert an enemy's attention and bypass a room without wasting munitions.

Because they are fragile items, bottles are usually hidden in storage areas, kitchens, or labs. On Casual and Standard difficulties, Empty Bottles are relatively plentiful. However, if you are playing on Insanity, their spawns are drastically reduced, and some are replaced by enemy drops. This makes every bottle you find a high-priority resource that should be hoarded for encounters where Leon's standard firearms struggle.
