FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time: Monster Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time, Monsters are the wildlife and enemy encounters scattered across all three regions — the primary target for combat Lives, and a major source of crafting drops.

There are 245 Monster spawn locations: 5 in Eternia Village, 25 in Capital of Mysteria, and 215 across Ginormosia.

This counts individual spawn points, not unique species — common types like Worker Bee and Tunoco Lizard appear at dozens of separate locations each. All confirmed spawn points are marked on our complete FANTASY LIFE i interactive maps.

Common Wildlife Across All Three Regions

The most frequently encountered species include Tropic Toad, Tunoco Lizard, Tortortoise, Hearhare, Worker Bee, and Corny — low-threat enemies suited to early-game combat Lives and material farming.

Grass, Rock, Flame, and Bloom Serpent variants, along with Applejack Ape and Applejack Gorilla, appear more heavily within Ginormosia's open regions.

Time-of-Day Spawns

Several Monster types only appear during specific hours — Red Wolf and Black Woolie, for example, spawn exclusively at night, while most standard wildlife like Tropic Toad and Tortortoise spawns Day/Night without restriction.

Checking the in-game clock before hunting a specific species saves time chasing a spawn point that's currently empty.

Mimics: The Chest That Isn't

Mimic appears repeatedly throughout the Ginormosia entries in this guide — these aren't a location marker error, but a genuine enemy type disguised as a treasure chest.

Mimics flee on sight and typically drop currency items or Treasure Grove Saplings when caught, making them worth chasing despite the extra effort compared to standard wildlife.

Area Rank and Stronger Variants

As covered in the Boss guide, raising a Ginormosia region's Area Rank doesn't just unlock named Boss encounters — it also strengthens the standard Monster population in that region, introducing silver- and gold-crown variants that yield significantly better drops than their base-rank counterparts.
