Elden Ring: Wandering Mausoleum Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

The Elden Ring Wandering Mausoleums play an important role, as they are the only way to duplicate Remembrances.

Wandering Mausoleums are massive, bell-bearing stone monoliths that roam the landscape on four stone legs.

They are the gatekeepers for securing both unique items from a single Shardbearer without having to start a New Game Plus cycle.

The Lands Between: Essential Mausoleum Sites

To enter a mausoleum, you must typically clear the "Ghostly Barnacles" from its legs (or body) until it settles into the earth.

  • Weeping Peninsula: Located in the vast plains west of the Minor Erdtree. This is the requirement for duplicating early-game rewards like Godrick's Remembrance.
  • Liurnia (Uld Palace Ruins): Two mausoleums roam the waters near the Mausoleum Compound. Note: These do not have bells and can only duplicate Remembrances from non-Shardbearer bosses (like the Regal Ancestor Spirit).
  • Liurnia (Raya Lucaria North): Found in the water northeast of the academy. This one requires a Spiritspring jump to reach the barnacles on its upper body.
  • Deeproot Depths: Located near the Nameless Eternal City Site of Grace. You must use the surrounding roots to jump onto the chassis.
  • Mountaintops of the Giants: Found directly outside Castle Sol. This mausoleum is a key requirement for duplicating the endgame rewards from the Fire Giant or Maliketh.
  • Consecrated Snowfield: Located in the blizzard-heavy north near the Ordina, Liturgical Town. This mausoleum aggressively defends itself with magical artillery strikes.

2026 Nightreign: Limveld & Spectral Duplication

The 2026 Nightreign expansion has introduced Spectral Mausoleums within the Limveld region, which interact with the expansion's unique boss souls.

  • Limveld Locations: During "Shifting Earth" events, a Spectral Mausoleum can appear in the Forsaken Hollows. It is the standard method for duplicating the Remembrance of the Nightlord.
  • Spectral Hawk Access: Players use the Spectral Hawk Trees to land directly on the roofs of roaming mausoleums in the Nightreign Castle outskirts. This bypasses the ground-level combat with Nightglow enemies that often swarm the legs.
  • Scholar Class Utility: For those running the Scholar build, these structures are the best access points for unlocking both the Nightglow Greatsword and the associated Shadow-Aspect spells in a single playthrough.

In 2026, you must remember that each mausoleum is a one-time-use resource. An effective strategy is to save the Consecrated Snowfield and Limveld mausoleums specifically for the Elden Remembrance or the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess.

Cleaning your inventory by duplicating these high-value items early is the most efficient way to secure the Legendary Armaments required for the Platinum trophy before venturing into the randomized depths of the Nightreign Castle.

To help you track down every roaming monolith and secure your double rewards, we have pinned every location on our Elden Ring interactive regional maps and atlas.
