Elden Ring: Summoning Pool Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

As the main hub for linking up with other warriors, the Elden Ring Effigy of the Martyr is a must-have tool for any co-op player.

These small stone figures—found at the start of every cave and right outside boss doors—act as the points to gather a team and beat the toughest fights in the Lands Between and the Nightreign expansion.

How to Use Summoning Pools

You don't just walk past these; you have to interact with them to turn them on.

• Activation: Once you touch a pool, it is added to your network.
• The Item: Use the Small Golden Effigy to send your co-op sign to all active pools at once.
• NPC Help: Even if you play offline, turning on a pool is the best way to make NPC summon signs appear for big bosses.

Major Pool Locations

You will find these near almost every Site of Grace in a dungeon, but these are the most used spots for finding high-level players:

• Limgrave: The First Step (for the Tree Sentinel) and the entrance to Stormveil Castle.
• Weeping Peninsula: Right at the start of Castle Morne after the lift.
• Liurnia of the Lakes: Academy Gate Town and right before the Rennala boss fight.
• Altus Plateau: The entrance to Leyndell, Royal Capital, and near the Grand Lift of Dectus.
• Mountaintops: Foot of the Forge—this is a top choice for finding help with the Fire Giant.

2026 Nightreign: Limveld Co-op

The 2026 Nightreign update introduces Spectral Pools in the Limveld area that only work during certain times.

• Limveld Locations: During Shifting Earth events, pools will appear near the Great Church. These are the main spots for gathering a team for the Forsaken Hollows expeditions.
• Scholar Class Advantage: If you are playing the Scholar, you can use the Spectral Hawk Tree to see which pools have the most active signs from a distance.
• Heolstor the Nightlord: The pool outside the Nightreign Castle throne room is the best place to find players specialized in "Nightglow" damage, which is a huge help for the third-day boss rush.

In 2026, the smartest move for fast co-op is to use the Small Golden Effigy with the "Near and Far" setting. This sends your sign to every pool you have activated across the whole map.

Also, remember that some pools in Limveld are hidden behind illusory walls that only open during a Nightreign Storm.
