Elden Ring: Divine Tower Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Elden Ring, a Divine Tower is the only location capable of restoring the dormant power of Great Runes.

Divine Towers are massive, ancient monoliths that ring the center of the Lands Between and allow players to activate the game's most potent passive buffs, and to harness the specific strengths of the Shardbearers they have defeated.

The Six Original Divine Towers

Each tower is tied to a specific Shardbearer's Great Rune. Note that you must possess the rune before the doors will open:

  • Divine Tower of Limgrave: Restores Godrick’s Great Rune. Accessed via the main bridge in Stormveil Castle; look for the waygate at the end of the bridge guarded by Golems.
  • Divine Tower of Liurnia: Houses the Cursemark of Death (essential for Ranni's quest). Accessed through the Carian Study Hall using the Carian Inverted Statue.
  • Divine Tower of Caelid: Restores Radahn’s Great Rune. Requires vertical parkour along the exterior ledges and roots to enter.
  • Divine Tower of West Altus: Restores Rykard’s Great Rune. Hidden behind the illusory walls of the Sealed Tunnel south of Leyndell.
  • Divine Tower of East Altus: Restores both Morgott’s and Mohg’s Great Runes. Found across the bridge leading out of the capital toward the Forbidden Lands.
  • Isolated Divine Tower: Restores Malenia’s Great Rune. Only accessible via the waygate at the Divine Bridge in Leyndell (reachable through the Tower of Return in the Weeping Peninsula).

2026 Nightreign: Limveld & The Great Hollow

The 2026 Nightreign expansion introduced the Spirit Shelter system, where Divine Towers serve a new architectural purpose within the Limveld region.

  • The Spirit Shelter Brace: In 2026, a specific Divine Tower in the Great Hollow acts as the anchor for the Spirit Shelter. This structure is a key requirement for stabilizing your Nightfarer builds during heavy "Shifting Earth" events.
  • Great Hollow Towers: Additional towers found within the subterranean Great Hollow are the core methods for restoring the new Shattered Runes found in the Forsaken Hollows DLC.
  • Spectral Hawk Access: In Limveld, you can use the Spectral Hawk Tree network to reach the upper balconies of these new towers, bypassing the ground-level "Nightglow" enemies that haunt the tower bases.

To help you scale every tower and activate your runes, we have pinned every waygate and entrance on our Elden Ring interactive navigation maps
