Dragon Age The Veilguard: Champion Gate Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
Dragon Age: The Veilguard features a massive, locked gate in The Crossroads you'll surely stumble upon. To open this Gate of Deep Sorrows (often called the Champion Gate) and claim the legendary loot inside, you have to hunt down and defeat powerful Revenant Champions hidden across Northern Thedas.
These Champions are optional bosses, and finding them is a puzzle. Some can be found in secret corners of the Hossberg Wetlands, while others are hiding behind breakable walls in Dock Town or the Arlathan Forest.
Each Champion drops a key item called Champion Essence, and you need to collect all of them to unseal the final gate in the Crossroads. Defeating them is one of the most difficult challenges in the game, but the reward is worth it: access to a secret boss fight and some of the best Legendary Weapons and Armor available for your Rook.
