Atomfall: Point of Interest Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

The Points of Interest in Atomfall are the 42 named landmark locations marked across the Windscale Quarantine Zone — the navigational backbone of the map, identifying everything from Trader Camps and Radio Towers to Druid ceremonial sites and the four Data Stores deep inside The Interchange.

Unlike collectibles, Points of Interest are not picked up — they orient exploration, anchor Findings to their physical locations, and mark the key destinations required by each of the game's six ending questlines. All 42 have also been documented by our team of mappers and can be tracked across Map Master's five interactive maps for Atomfall.

The Three Radio Towers

Three Points of Interest are not just landmarks — they're mandatory objectives for Joyce Tanner's ending questline. All three must be activated using their respective Radio Tower Keycards (Key Items):

  • Radio Tower, Slatten Dale — the first Radio Tower, accessible via the underground room below the tower. The Slatten Dale Radio Tower Keycard is on a body in the small cave inside the Outlaw Camp, reached via scaffolding in the waterlogged quarry.

  • Casterfell Woods Radio Tower, Casterfell Woods — the most difficult Radio Tower to access. The Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Keycard sits in the contaminated room on the upper floor of Bunker L9 — requires a Signal Redirector to activate the ventilation system and clear the poison gas before entering.

  • Radio Tower, Skethermoor — the Skethermoor Radio Tower Keycard is in a secret room in the Vehicle Storage Bunker, accessible via a small window in the wall to the right of a body at the workbench.

The Interchange: Six Endgame Landmarks

All six Points of Interest inside The Interchange represent the game's critical endgame progression milestones:

  • Data Stores Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta — the four power terminals requiring an Atomic Battery each to restore. Alpha unlocks Medical; Bravo unlocks Robotics; Charlie unlocks the section connecting to Joyce Tanner; Delta holds the Crafting Manual Store Room.

  • Central Processor — the hub chamber where the Signal Redirector is used to redirect power after all four Data Stores are active.

  • Crane Controls — operated from the Crane Control Room using the Crane Controls Keycard, moves the container to create the access route to Dr. Garrow's cell in Skethermoor Prison from inside The Interchange.

Notable Surface Points of Interest

Helicopter Crash Site appears twice — in both Slatten Dale (where Agravaine's Lockbox Key and the "Infiltrators" Lead are found) and Casterfell Woods (where Joyce Tanner's Remote Bunker connects).

The Old Mine (Casterfell Woods) — where Mother Jago is found, initiating the Druid ending questline. Connects directly to the Stone Circle POI nearby.

Stone Circle (Casterfell Woods) — the Druid sacred site used in Mother Jago's ritual, central to the "At One with the Soil" ending.

Trader Camps (×3: Slatten Dale, Skethermoor, Casterfell Woods) — mark each region's active trader location. The Slatten Dale Trader Camp is where Molly Jowett operates; the Skethermoor Trader Camp marks Bootsy Hughes's position; the Casterfell Trader Camp indicates Billy Gorse or Mother Jago's trading area.
